IEVA Clinical Case Award

Following the success of the 2021 competition, the IEVA Clinical Cases Award returns for 2022.

As before, it is open to new veterinary graduates, including practitioners, interns and residents. The aim of the award is to offer a stage to present interesting clinical cases (or series of cases) with relevance to equine practitioners.

Four finalists will be selected to present a 15 minute Equine Case Report on Saturday 12th Nov at Lyrath Estate, Kilkenny and will have an opportunity to display a Poster presentation on their case report in the exhibition area. All four finalists will receive a €250 award and will be granted free access to the IEVA Conference.

The winner will be selected on the day, by a Jury of the Keynote speakers from the conference and awarded €1000 and a bottle of Champagne for their mentor.

Case reports that are interesting and relevant to clinicians will be highly favoured!

Instructions and competition rules:

Applicants are to be recent veterinary graduates (since 2017).
Abstract should not exceed 250 words and be submitted by September 30th 2022.

Abstracts will be reviewed by the Scientific Committee for the IEVA Conference and be scored on case relevance to equine practitioners and quality of writing.
Four finalists will be selected to present their cases at the IEVA Conference in Lyrath Estate in November 2022. Finalists will be notified by 14th October 2022.
